We're sending books to children in our community in partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
Reading to children early and often builds strong foundations in literacy, encourages a love of reading, and increases the potential for learning success in school. We’re excited to put great books into the hands of children across Douglas County to provide even more opportunities to read together. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, children from birth to age five receive a free book each month, sent straight to their home, that they get to keep.
Signing up is easy! Register your child(ren) from birth to age five to get started receiving high-quality, age-appropriate books every month, at no cost to you. Every child in your family may participate and receive their own books, so be sure to register each child individually. Let’s inspire a love of reading together!
*Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of your first book from Tennessee, after which books are delivered every month.
