Covid-19 Update

All Douglas County Libraries locations are open and operating under governmental health guidelines.

Protect Yourself & Others

Masks are available for customers if they wish to wear one. We have applied to receive additional KN95 and surgical masks from the state government, and have asked to be added to their distribution locations list. We are awaiting confirmation and the arrival of the masks and hope to have them at our locations soon. Please continue to check back for updated information. Hand sanitizer stations are set up at library entrances, public service desks, cash-handling points, and other heavily used areas. Douglas County Libraries continues to offer curbside and virtual services.

Safety Precautions & Protocols

Enhanced in-library cleaning and disinfecting procedures are ongoing using EPA-registered disinfectants and Protexus Electrostatic Sprayer disinfecting guns. Library HVAC systems provide "single pass 100% outside air."
