Camp DCL: Enrichment Series

This series of traveling mini-camps is designed for elementary students ages 5-10 and takes place at various DCL locations. Each session focuses on enrichment beyond the basic school subjects, giving kids a chance to get hands-on with learning and rounding out their educational experience.

Pop! Bang! Fizz!

Ages 5-10, $30
A little of this + a little of that = some wild reactions! Campers will make a slushy treat to eat and see Soda Slobber. We’ll also make water disappear, play with snow that never melts, and make some slime that looks alive. You won’t believe that a little mixing fun can teach some science before we’re done. With a pop, or a bang, or even some fizz, you’ll become a chemistry whiz! Facilitated by professionals from Science Matters. Please bring your own nut-free snack.
