Camp DCL's weeklong, half-day summer camps provide hands-on fun and unique learning experiences for kids ages 5-12, giving them the chance to discover what they love. All camps include supplies and daily snacks.

Global Flavors

Kids ages 6-10 will cook their way around the world in this fun and delicious camp!

What better way to explore another culture than through its food? Young chefs will explore global customs, songs and languages while creating tasty, healthy cuisine from South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Recipes include French Apple Cranberry Tarte Tatin Cups and Indian Sweet Potato Samosas. Camp facilitated by professionals from Sticky Fingers.

Kids Cooking Network

Chefs ages 8-12 will work together to complete cooking challenges.

Campers will complete challenges inspired by favorite TV shows, like Master Chef Jr., Cupcake Wars, Chopped Jr., and Cutthroat Kitchen. Kids will learn about new cooking equipment and techniques, explore flavor pairing, and create mouthwatering recipes from scratch each day. Recipes include Hawaiian Rainbow Watermelon Poke Bowls and Wonderous Watermelon Soda Spanish Red Pepper Croquetas. Camp facilitated by professionals from Sticky Fingers.

Kids ages 6-10 will bring their favorite books to life!

Campers will bring their favorite books to life through delicious recipes like "Cloudy With a Chance of Spaghetti & Meat Balls," Fastest Tomato Sauce Ever, Harry Potter's Pumpkin Pasties, and Madame Pomfrey's Pumpkin Smoothies. Young chefs will broaden their imaginations and expand their skills in this hands-on literary and culinary camp. Camp facilitated by professionals from Sticky Fingers.

Kids ages 7-11 are going on safari!

They'll check out all kinds of cool creatures and the places they live, then learn how to draw some of their favorite exotic animals using bold patterns and colors. This camp is packed with 2-D and 3-D projects—drawing on velvet and rainbow paper, collage, wire sculpture, watercolor and more! Kids will gain skills that will last a lifetime through fun art techniques. Camp facilitated by professionals from KidzArt.

Out of This World Space Art

Kids ages 7-11 launch into an exciting galaxy of drawings and projects.

They'll voyage to realms both real and imagined, touch down on the famous Peaceful Pink and Purple Puppy Planet, and design their own planets as they experiment with sculpture, painting and projects to thrill any outer space explorer. Camp facilitated by professionals from KidzArt.

Jedi LEGO Engineering

Young Jedi ages 5-8 will love this introductory engineering course!

The Force Awakens as they explore concepts while designing and building LEGO projects such as XWings, R2 Units, Energy Catapults, Defense Turrets, and Settlements from a galaxy far, far away. They'll even create motorized projects to defeat the Empire! Camp facilitated by professionals from Play-Well TEKnologies.

Harry Potter Master LEGO Engineering

Campers ages 7-11 will master the magic of Harry Potter using LEGOs!

Kids will build Diagon Alley, explore Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, play Quidditch, challenge the serpentine Basilisk, and face the evil Voldemort. They'll have so much fun they won't realize they're learning advanced STEM concepts in the process! Camp facilitated by professionals from Play-Well TEKnologies.

Minecraft LEGO Engineering

Young campers ages 5-7 will bring Minecraft to life using tens of thousands of LEGO parts!

They'll build engineer-designed projects such as a motorized Creeper, a portal to the Nether, and a moving Minecart with the guidance of an experienced instructor. Whether kids are new to Minecraft and LEGO materials or seasoned veterans, they'll be hooked on the endless creative possibilities. Camp facilitated by professionals from Play-Well TEKnologies.

Robotics for Little Coders

Campers ages 5-7 will develop computational thinking skills and build their first programs!

We'll introduce students to basic coding concepts with simple tasks, such as customizing their Ozobot and assigning commands through different colors, then build up to more complex tasks with Ozobot's simple drag-and-drop language. Ozobot is designed for early readers' cognitive abilities and typical attention spans. Camp facilitated by professionals from Coding With Kids.

Minecraft Adventure

Kids ages 7-11 will create and innovate on our exclusive, safe, and local online server.

They'll work together to build towns and strategize to complete four epic quests, travelling to far away lands, battling foes, and navigating through fiery volcanoes. After camp, participants will receive a "Minecraft Crafting and Skills Guide," a surprise Minecraft gift, and a year of access to the exclusive server where they can continue to play with their new friends. Camp facilitated by professionals from Colorado Code Club.

WeDo Robotics

Kids ages 7-9 will build and program robots in this introductory class using the LEGO WeDo system.

They'll learn basic programming skills, simple engineering concepts, and the names of robot components, then work in small groups to complete several projects using tilt and motion sensors. This is a great way to prepare young robotics enthusiasts for our more advanced robotics programs. Camp facilitated by professionals from Play-Well TEKnologies.
