Please note: Your camper’s spot is not fully secured until your payment has been processed by Douglas County Libraries and you have received a payment confirmation email.
Q: Is there a pro-rated cost option for this camp, in case my child can only attend a few days of the camp but not the full week?
A: We do not offer a pro-rated discount for partial attendance during the week. If you pay for the full week, your child can attend camp on the days that are possible for him/her.
Q: Does my child need to pack a lunch for each day of camp?
A: Yes. For our full-day Spring Break camps your camper will need to bring a NUT-FREE lunch each day.
Q: Are snacks provided, and what are they?
A: Yes, we provide a drink (usually juice and/or water), fresh fruit (an apple, small orange, etc.), and usually a nut-free prepackaged snack (such as graham crackers, animal crackers, etc.). We will let you know which specific snacks will be offered for your camp in the pre-camp email.
Q: Will you provide more information on the camp as the date gets closer?
A: Yes, a pre-camp email will be sent the week prior to your scheduled camp and it will list the dates, times, location, a brief daily description, tips or notes for the week, a contact phone number, and any additional information you’ll need to review prior to the start of camp.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellations made up to three business days prior to Camp start will be eligible for a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee. No refund is given for a cancellation with fewer than three business days’ notice. A full refund will be given if DCL cancels a Camp for any reason. In the event of a DCL-initiated cancellation, parents or guardians will be notified by email or phone. Parents wishing to withdraw a child from Camp should provide written notification via email.
